Octopus for a Preemie is a worldwide program through which crocheters and knitters may donate octopus stuffed animals for premature babies to cuddle during their time in the hospital. The octopus is a specific size and the tentacles are specially coiled to entice babies to wrap their fingers and tug on them instead of tubes and wires helping them to stay alive in their early days of life.
